What is cupping?

Cupping is an ancient therapy rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves placing glass or plastic cups on the skin to create suction.

I know, it looks intense... but it’s actually very soothing!

The suction lifts the skin and underlying tissues, which helps increase blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing. It's basically the reverse action of massage, which repeatedly pushes the tissues inward. If you're the kind of person who gets lots of massages, it's smart to balance this out with a good cupping session now and then.

This process can leave temporary circular marks on the skin. Not only are these marks trendy nowadays, but they are also seen as a sign of the body’s release of stagnation and toxins.

Patients often describe the sensation as a deep tissue massage combined with a feeling of immediate relaxation. Many feel instant relief from muscle tightness, stress, and even respiratory issues.

Chinese cupping is a powerful, natural way to enhance your body’s ability to heal, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and balanced.
